2/28/2017 0 Comments COASTALFresh inspiration! New ideas for my next project exploring coastal landscapes. I want to explore a muted colour palette, with soft greys, blues and pinks with splashes of coral. My initial research looks at artists like Norman Ackroyd, Kurt Jackson, Rob Barnes and textile prints by Rebecca Atwood. Initial images taken at Weybourne, Norfolk. A starting point I've use before, but one that is full of exciting inspiration. I wanted to capture the rugged textures of the weathered ropes and the amazing textures within the cliff face. I was searching for shells and seaweed to collect and draw from at a later date.
